Ethnic groups from Yanyingshan village in Xiaojing town of Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, celebrated a local festival on May 26 known as "Siyueba", which means April 8 on the Chinese lunar calendar.

"Siyueba" is a local festival that belongs to several ethnic groups, in which people celebrate the harvest and share food.
On the day, more than a dozen Bouyei and Miao people dressed in traditional costumes sang traditional folk songs to welcome tourists from the province and beyond.
The festive celebrations were rich and colorful, including performances such as lantern shows, and local songs and dances.
In addition, competitions such as tug-of-war and pitch-pot were held, creating a joyous atmosphere for the participants.
Also, at the long table banquet, people got to enjoy some local specialties and talked about their visions for a better life together.
