Village road project boosts local economy

In the mountainous region of Guizhou province in Southwest China, the local government has completed a 2.1-kilometer-road project in Dashi village of the province's Xiuwen county.

With the help of multiple efforts from the local township government and the village committee, the road project was finally approved and completed in just three months. The road has improved transportation for local residents and boosted their productivity and standard of living.

Now farmers no longer have to walk along such long paths to get to their fields, which makes their daily routines more convenient and efficient. The improvement in infrastructure has helped to promote the local economy by bringing better transportation to the area.

Dashi village is a demonstration village for ethnic unity in the country, as it is one of the most ethnically diverse villages in China. These massive infrastructure projects have been developed over the years to support the community's growth and to demonstrate the importance of ethnic unity to the rest of the country.

The continuous improvement of 20 other basic infrastructure facilities, such as upgrading roadsides, providing water storage and lighting installation helps to build on this success. These efforts have helped to promote local economic growth and are essential to rural vitalization.
