Springtime sprinting at Guiyang and Gui'an Cherry Blossom Half-marathon

Over 6,000 runners gathered at Gui'an Cherry Blossom Park on March 31 for the "Run Guiyang · 2025 Guiyang and Gui'an Cherry Blossom Half-marathon". This year's event, held in sync with the cherry blossom season, featured two categories: the half-marathon and the "Love Run 1314".

Both races started at the Gui'an New Area Planning Exhibition Hall. They winded through Baima Avenue, Qing'an Avenue and Shugu Avenue, connecting city landmarks such as the Xingyuehu and Yuelianghu parks. Along this exclusive "cherry blossom track", runners enjoyed breathtaking views of Gui'an Cherry Blossom Park, where layers of pink and white blooms created a stunning spring spectacle.  

As part of the "Run Guiyang" series, the 2025 Guiyang and Gui'an Cherry Blossom Half-marathon aimed to establish itself as a premier event with a unique regional identity, promoting fitness while enhancing the "Cool Guiyang" brand.
