The Hetang Yueshe homestay project and Yijing Shiguang camp project of Chongen village were signed on May 13 at Xiuwen Rural Resource Asset Equity Trading Center in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Chong'en village and Yayuan Media signed a cooperation agreement, marking a substantial step forward for Xiuwen in transforming "resources to assets, and assets to capital".
The two projects are expected to integrate leisure, vacation, and agricultural experiences, relying on local ecological resources.
These projects, serving as demonstration projects for the integration of culture and tourism, will lead the exploration of the "village collective + enterprises + farmers" cooperation model, providing valuable experience for revitalizing idle farmhouses and inefficient land in Xiuwen.
Since its establishment, the trading center has integrated idle rural resources such as land, houses, and orchards, completing a total of 49 transactions with a turnover exceeding 10 million yuan ($1.39 million). This has driven an annual income increase of over 35 percent for village collectives and farmers.
More projects in specialty agriculture, culture and tourism, healthcare, and digital agriculture are expected to be implemented in Xiuwen through the trading center.
