National youth soccer tournament opens in Xiuwen county

The 2025 Jukesheng Cup National Youth Soccer Invitational Tournament commenced on July 17 at the sports center of Xiuwen county, Guizhou province. The six-day event has attracted 57 youth teams from 18 clubs across China, with over 600 young athletes participating in this annual football extravaganza.

During the opening ceremony, teams proudly paraded while the national anthem echoed throughout the stadium. Representatives from Guizhou Jikang Pharmaceutical Co, the tournament's sponsor, pledged continued support for youth sports development in China. The first day saw intense competition among 12 teams, including the Primary School Attached to Chengdu Foreign Languages School and Qingshan Football Club.

Throughout this event, Xiuwen county, renowned as China's premier summer retreat destination, has integrated sports with tourism. Participants can enjoy cultural excursions to Yangming Cultural Park and Guizhou Wildlife Park during the tournament, experiencing the region's scenic views, gourmet food, and great shopping.

Organized by Xiuwen county sports association and co-hosted by Guizhou Ruibo Zhiyuan Sports Development Co, the tournament not only promotes youth football development but also drives regional economic growth through sports tourism. The event continues until July 22, featuring both competitive matches and cultural exchange activities.
