Xiuwen holds youth Go competition

The Yangming Cup Youth Go Exchange Competition was held on Aug 8 at the Xiuwen Sports Center, attracting many young participants.

The competition features individual matches for elementary school students, divided into Group A (fourth grade and above) and Group B (third grade and below). Over 40 students competed under the latest Go competition rules approved by the General Administration of Sport of China to ensure the standardization and fairness of the event.

During the competition, the young participants remained calm and strategic, demonstrating strong talent and focus.

The event provided a platform for children to showcase their talents and promoted the popularization and development of Go in Xiuwen county, cultivating an interest in traditional Chinese culture among the students.
