Xiuwen county creates new urban ecology

Xiuwen county has been polishing its ecological foundation through a combination of scientific maintenance, spatial expansion, and intelligent empowerment measures.

The county implements the principle of refinement and normalization throughout the entire process of maintaining squares, parks, and public green spaces. Every week, maintenance personnel shuttle between various green spaces, inspecting the growth of vegetation, carrying out watering, fertilization, pruning operations, and removing weeds and spraying insect repellent to ensure the healthy growth of green plants.

To date, nearly 50,000 square meters of weeds have been cleared, and pest control operations have covered an area of 30,000 sq m. The green space has become a natural "oxygen bar" in the city.

To enable citizens to enjoy the beauty of ecology right at their doorstep, Xiuwen county has focused on improving the quality of urban greening by creating green spaces that integrate leisure and viewing in idle land. Nowadays, the accumulated addition of 48,482 sq m of urban green space is constantly upgrading the "green happiness" of citizens.
