Xiuwen promotes kiwifruit brand in Guiyang

On Oct 24, the Xiuwen county bureau of agriculture and rural affairs arranged for Xiuwen's enterprises to promote the "Xiuwen Kiwifruit" regional public brand at Qingyun Market in Guiyang.

The staff members set up temporary exhibition counters to display the Xiuwen kiwifruit series fresh fruits. Through placing promotional signs, hanging slogans, distributing materials, lucky draws, and Xiuwen kiwifruit knowledge quizzes, they promoted the unique characteristics of Xiuwen kiwifruit, a national geographical indication protected product, to the public.

The output of Xiuwen kiwifruit this year is about 100,000 metric tons. Fruit picking season has ended, while fresh fruit sales are still booming.

To improve production and sales coordination, the bureau has been arranging for kiwifruit enterprises, cooperatives, and farmers to carry out a series of promotional activities for regional public brands and enterprise brands in communities, famous scenic spots, and large supermarkets, helping to expand online and offline sales channels for kiwifruit.
