Xiuwen promotes Yangming culture

Xiuwen county has been working to build a demonstration area for the preservation of Yangming culture since the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), and has been awarded the title of China's most charming cultural tourism county.

In line with provincial and municipal plans for the transformation and application of Yangming culture, and considering local cultural education needs, Xiuwen introduced policies such as the "Action Plan for Cultural Education Construction" and the "Development Plan for the Yangming Cultural Industry in Xiuwen County".

Xiuwen has explored the core values of Yangming culture, conducting more than 500 public welfare lectures, as well as over 300 themed cultural, commercial, sports, and tourism events.

The county has launched more than 10 integrated cultural and tourism routes, receiving over 1 million visitors for Yangming culture study tours and generating comprehensive income exceeding 200 million yuan ($28.39 million). It also opened the Yangming Culture Book Market, publishing more than 10 books on Yangming culture and developing over 200 Yangming cultural products. This has supported the preservation, promotion, transformation, and application of Yangming culture.

Xiuwen will cultivate the connotation and value of Yangming cultural resources, with a core goal of establishing a model area for the protection and inheritance of Yangming culture, thereby promoting the integration of culture, commerce, sports, and tourism.
