Xiuwen county advanced on the path of new industrialization during the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period, promoting the high-quality development of the regional economy.
Xiuwen took new industrialization as an important development engine and made efforts in industrial cultivation, project construction, and technological innovation empowerment. As a typical representative of cultivating new quality productive forces, the low-altitude industry is forming a comprehensive economic form that promotes coordinated development in multiple fields, with broad development space.
Xiuwen built and put into use the first low-altitude flight service base in Guiyang, opened Guizhou province's first "low-altitude + logistics" drug delivery application route, and completed China's independently developed 2-ton eVTOL cross-city cargo test flight, achieving point-to-point direct access and zero carbon emissions throughout the entire process.
Xiuwen completed an industrial investment of 14.29 billion yuan ($2.04 billion). As of now, there are 104 industrial enterprises above the designated size, including one enterprise with an output value of 8 billion yuan, one enterprise with an output value of 1 billion yuan, and 34 enterprises with an output value of 100 million yuan. The county houses a total of 36 innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, 29 provincial-level specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, and 22 technology innovation platforms and 15 green manufacturing enterprises at or above the city level.
Through measures such as intelligent production line transformation and energy-saving process upgrading, Xiuwen promoted the revitalization of traditional industries, implementing 113 industry-related projects with a total investment of 25.84 billion yuan, and completing 108 projects with a total investment of 11.59 billion yuan.
Xiuwen is planning more ambitious development in the industrial sector, striving to increase the total industrial output, optimize the industrial structure, and harness the cluster effect in the next five years.
