CPPCC Xiuwen Committee annual session convenes

The fifth session of the 10th Xiuwen County Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) convened on Feb 3, with 171 members in attendance.

Wang Yuqi, secretary of the Party group and chairman of the CPPCC Xiuwen County Committee, said that 2026 marks the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), a year of great significance. The CPPCC system across the county will work to further enhance quality and efficiency, promote the high-quality development of CPPCC work, and help Xiuwen make new contributions to showcasing the new outlook of Guizhou province.

Luo Xiaoyun, vice-chairman of the CPPCC Xiuwen County Committee, delivered a report on proposal work since the fourth session of the 10th CPPCC Xiuwen County Committee. The report pointed out that over the past year, a total of 275 proposals were received, of which 263 were filed after review. As of now, all proposals have been handled.
