Xiuwen holds orchid fair

The third Xiuwen Spring Festival Orchid Fair was held at the China Yangming Culture Park on Feb 25. Orchid enthusiasts and growers gathered to discuss the future development of the orchid industry.

The fair aimed to enrich citizens' cultural lives during the Spring Festival holiday and boost the integrated development of agriculture, culture, and tourism through orchid-themed cultural activities.

About 150 exquisite orchids were displayed at the fair, highlighting the distinctive local orchid varieties cultivated in Xiuwen. All exhibits were required to be healthy plants with at least three seedlings, placed in decorative pots and covered with moss to achieve the best possible ornamental effect.

A special auction area and an orchid sales area were also set up at the venue, attracting orchid enthusiasts and dealers from Sichuan, Yunnan, and neighboring districts and counties in Guizhou.
