Youth soccer competition kicks off in Xiuwen

The 2026 "Yangming Cup" youth soccer invitational tournament kicked off in Xiuwen county on July 13, providing a high‑quality platform for young participants to hone their soccer skills and pursue knowledge through study tours.

A total of 70 teams took part in the tournament, including 18 local teams from Xiuwen. The rest came from inside and outside Guizhou province, such as Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Liupanshui, with more than 600 young athletes.

The tournament is staffed with a 32-strong professional referee team, and nine standard competition venues are put into use, including four five‑a‑side pitches and five eight‑a‑side pitches. More than 330 matches will be held throughout the tournament.

Young participants will enjoy the charm of soccer and experience traditional culture during the tournament, achieving all‑round quality improvement.
