Utilizing its rich ecological resources, Xiuwen county has entered its annual peak season for summer tourism and extended stays.

From January to June 2026, tourist arrivals at A‑level scenic spots in Xiuwen rose by 56 percent year‑on‑year. Since July, daily visitor numbers at scenic spots have risen sharply, with particularly strong surges on weekends compared with ordinary weekdays. Data on ticket sales, recreational activities, and supporting consumption reflect a strong upturn in the cultural‑tourism market.
Occupancy rates at high‑quality homestays and rural long‑stay sites across the county remain near full capacity. More than 1,200 seasonal long‑stay visitors are currently checked in, driving the coordinated growth of supporting local industries, including catering, agricultural products, and leisure and entertainment.
Building on its main attractions — Yangming culture, a cool summer climate, and rural leisure — Xiuwen will further improve public cultural and tourism services and expand its summer long‑stay tourism sector, supporting the high‑quality development of the county's cultural tourism industry.
