Xiuwen's Wugongqiao village serves as a core hub for integrating agriculture and tourism, using its unique resources to forge a path toward rural vitalization.

Yuan Zhengxiang, a villager, opened his vineyard on Sept 6. This year's picking season is expected to last for one month, with sales projected to exceed 100,000 yuan ($14,900).

Beyond selling fresh grapes, Yuan has brewed more than 2,500 kilograms of wine, another signature agricultural product from the vineyard.

Not far away, the sweet persimmon plantation run by Xu Yonghong is laden with ripe fruits. "The orchard is expected to open for picking in about one month, before mass marketing," said Xu. "We have already received many inquiries for orders online and offline." Sweet persimmons command a favorable market price, with the highest reaching 40 yuan per kg.

Wugongqiao village has continued to deepen the integration of fruit and vegetable cultivation with rural cultural tourism, with over 20 open-air barbecue sheds along the river fully booked by tourists every weekend, allowing many local farmers to boost their income by providing supporting services.
