Intl delegation visits Xiuwen

An international delegation from the 2026 China-Vietnam Youth International Communication Event visited Xiuwen county on Sept 20, exploring traditional Chinese cultural heritage and witnessing the achievements of modern agriculture in Guizhou.

The delegation visited China Yangming Cultural Park, a cultural and tourism complex centered on Yangming Cave, a major historical and cultural site protected at the national level. Following the sightseeing route, the group toured key exhibition venues, immersing themselves in the ideological essence of "the unity of knowledge and action".

They then headed for the core kiwifruit planting zone in Xiuwen, where they learned about kiwifruit cultivation and maintenance, variety breeding, and quality control, and praised the sweet, distinctive flavor of Xiuwen kiwifruit.

The delegation also inspected the full industrial chain model for kiwifruit. They visited all links in the workflow, including intelligent sorting, cold chain storage, and brand marketing, gaining first-hand knowledge of how Xiuwen has built kiwifruit into a pillar industry and seeing Guizhou's practical results in advancing digitalization and branding in specialty agriculture.

Throughout the event, a reporting team from China Daily documented the visit, capturing the charm of Guizhou's distinctive culture and featured industries and helping build a youth communication bridge for local featured industries to go global.
