Yunmanhu Eco-Resort Park kicks off molten iron event

A datiehua- (molten iron fireworks) themed event kicked off on Sept 19 at Yunmanhu Eco-Resort Park in Gui'an New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The one-month event centers on the nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage (ICH) of molten iron fireworks.

By drawing on the scenic area's European-style lakeside ecological scenery, it organically integrates diverse offerings such as ICH performances, parent-child amusements, and a bustling night market, creating a new all-weather immersive cultural tourism experience of "leisurely daytime roaming and dazzling ICH at night".

The nighttime ICH performances are the highlight of this event. Yunmanhu will stage special molten iron fireworks performances for 30 consecutive days, regularly presenting a high-quality nighttime ICH audiovisual feast.

In addition to the main molten iron fireworks show, a series of ICH fire-art performances is staged in succession. Traditional flame techniques such as fire pots, fire sticks, and fire knives take turns appearing on stage, cleverly blending ancient folk stunts with modern stage lighting and shadow.

During the day, Yunmanhu is lively and full of fun. NPC-themed parades, impressive acrobatic performances, and entertaining magic shows roll by one after another. The content is rich and suitable for all ages, enhancing the visiting experience for tourists of different age groups.

Bustling with energy, the lakeside specialty food market features local specialties and trendy, internet-famous snacks.

Moving forward, Yunmanhu Eco-Resort Park will continue to rely on high-quality ecological resources and expand ICH and folk cultural tourism content to build a suburban leisure resort destination with year-round appeal, monthly highlights, family-friendly activities, and a premium experience.
